Woodland Heritage maintains support for training in Continuous Cover Forest Management

Three attendees at the latest running of the ‘Irregular Silviculture in the Lowlands: Transformation in Practice’ course and one at another CCF course in North Wales all received grants from Woodland Heritage towards the costs of their attendance in October.

The Prince of Wales extends his Patronage of Woodland Heritage

In August, Woodland Heritage was delighted to learn that HRH The Prince of Wales had accepted its request to renew his Patronage of the charity.  The Prince of Wales agreed to become Patron of Woodland Heritage in 2005 in recognition of the charity's efforts to improve the management of woodlands in the UK.

Pioneering champion of forest research is winner of the Peter Savill Award 2018

Woodland Heritage is delighted to announce that the winner of this year’s Peter Savill Award is Professor Jo Bradwell, an immunologist by profession, but whose support for innovation in science and research for the benefit of trees and forestry over the last five years has no parallel in the UK.
