Irregular Silvicultural Network (ISN)

ISN's mission is to act as a branch of the Association Futaie Irrégulière (AFI) serving the English-speaking countries of Europe, USA and Canada.

The objectives of the ISN are:

  • To support and encourage the expansion of the AFI Research Network
  • To support the use of Abbreviated Monitoring methodologies and the use of the Marteloscope Training Aid
  • To undertake silvicultural and economic research into irregular forest management

It is envisaged that the ISN would have a restricted-membership body similar to the ISN itself.

Woodland Heritage has been administering grant-aid received recently to the benefit of ISN's work and development
