Legacies make a real difference to the work we’re able to do. And particularly legacies free from any restrictions allow us to direct funds to where they are most urgently needed. Woodland Heritage has been so very fortunate to have received many legacies over its 25-year history, but it could do so much more with a gift in your Will. Generally, gifts can be ‘pecuniary’ (a specific sum of whatever amount you might wish to give), or ‘residuary’, leaving the balance of your estate to Woodland Heritage on its own, or shared amongst several good causes.
Legacies have been extremely important over the years in allowing Woodland Heritage to support larger projects, and which include the acquisition of Whitney Sawmills, which in so many ways embodies the charity’s aim to be an important part of the timber supply chain and to help shape the future of British woods.
